Police confront home invasion suspects in Northeast Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for the three people who pulled off a home invasion in Northeast Philadelphia and nearly got caught.

It happened in the 2100 block of Tyson Avenue just before 3:00 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say the three men broke in and assaulted someone on the second floor.

Officers arrived on the scene as the suspects were walking out the front door.

All three managed to get away.

The man who was assaulted was not seriously hurt.
