A body was discovered in a creek in Camden County on Tuesday.

Police ID'd the man Wednesday as 31-year-old Marcus Fennell.

It was around 4:45 p.m. when two fishermen came across Fennell's body in Newton Creek in the vicinity of the unit block of White Horse Pike in Oaklyn.

His body was removed from the water by the Collingswood Fire Department.

An autopsy conducted Wednesday determined the cause of death to be drowning.

Fennell's death does not appear to be suspicious, police said.
