Police are investigating three suspicious car fires in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey early Tuesday morning.

PENNSAUKEN TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say three cars appear to have been torched overnight in Camden County, and they want to know why.

The vehicles were all set on fire within an hour, and located just blocks away from each other.

The first incident happened around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday on the 3900 block of Royal Avenue.

Police and fire crews found broken windows and shattered glass on the street.

The second fire was reported about six minutes later about a block away on Woodland Avenue.

A Mercedes-Benz was found with flat tires. Police cordoned off the area to collect evidence.

A third vehicle fire was reported at Garden and Highland in Camden, New Jersey.

Ash, scorch marks and pieces of the car were left at the scene after the car was towed.

The first car was also been towed. The Mercedes-Benz remained at the scene after dawn.

There were no reports of injuries in any of the three fires.

The fire marshal is trying to determine the motive.
