Police investigating shooting in Trenton

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police in Trenton have identified the person that was shot on a street Wednesday morning.

The victim was identified as 64-year-old Silas Johnson from Burlington, New Jersey.

He was shot several times.

It happened just after 10:00 a.m. on Market Street underneath the Route 1 overpass.

The shooting scene was closed to traffic for some time and opened a short time later.

Police say they are still searching for a suspect.

The investigation is continuing.
