Suspect steals toddler's iPad in NE Houston, knocks him to the ground

Police in Houston say a man seen in the video stole an iPad from a two-year-old boy.

HOUSTON -- Houston police are asking for the public's help to find a man they say stole a young boy's iPad earlier this month in northeast Houston and, while doing so, knocked him to the ground.

It happened on April 19 at 10:55am at in a parking lot in the 8600 block of Tidewell. Police say a man approached two small children near their mother's vehicle. He reportedly took the iPad from one of the children, a 2-year-old boy. The toddler was knocked to the ground and suffered minor injuries.

The suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described only as a black male, about 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with short hair. He was wearing blue shorts and a striped shirt.
