Police: Man tried to lure teen girl into car

NETHER PROVIDENCE TWP. (WPVI) -- Police are looking for the man who tried to lure a teenage girl into his car on Tuesday.

Investigators say it happened shortly after 11 a.m. on Providence Road near Strathmere Court.

The man, diving a small, older model black vehicle, reportedly told the girl he was delivering food but was not familiar with the area.

He then asked the girl to get in the car. She refused, police said, but the car remained in the area for several minutes.

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, short dirty blond hair, a mustache and was wearing a maroon shirt.
