Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect who allegedly robbed a Dunkin' Donuts in South Philadelphia.

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect who allegedly robbed a Dunkin' Donuts in South Philadelphia.

It happened on June 19 around 11:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of South 18th Street.

Police say the suspect entered the franchise and went to the counter to make a purchase.

A 50-year-old employee then opened the cash register, and that's when the suspect pulled a handgun demanding money, police say.

The suspect then took an unknown amount of money. Police say he fled in a car that was parked nearby with a second suspect.

That car was last seen traveling south on 18th Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'7", 180lbs, wearing all black clothing, black brimmed hat, black rimmed glasses, and armed with a handgun.
