BURLINGTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are working to find out if multiple robberies at CVS stores across the region are connected.

The most recent robbery happened around 7 a.m. Sunday at a store in Burlington, New Jersey.

Investigators say a worker walked outside to get the newspapers that were dropped off when the suspect approached and asked if the pharmacy was open.

A surveillance camera captured the man walking inside with his head down.

"He brandishes a handgun and order the two employees - the shift manager and a cashier - up to the office where the safe was," said Det. Marc Carnivale.

The suspect then told the manager to open the safe and he removed and undisclosed amount of cash. He fled the pharmacy on foot.

Police are now trying to see if the suspect is responsible for other CVS robberies across the region.

One robbery happened in Aston, Pa. on Saturday. In that case the workers were tied up and the suspects got away with cash.

Another CVS was robbed two weeks ago in Wilmington, Delaware.

"I am trying to contact these various agencies and I'm trying to determine if there is a connection between these robberies," said Carnivale.

No one was hurt in any of these crimes.
