Police warn drivers about rise in thefts

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Police in New Castle County are warning people about a new crime trend.

They say criminals are stealing the tailgates off the back of pick-up trucks throughout the county.

New Castle County Police say they've gotten more than a dozen calls about this in just over a month. Other agencies throughout the county say they've seen similar crimes as well.
