Woman shot in the face in Queen Village apartment dies

QUEEN VILLAGE -- Police say they are questioning several people after a woman was shot in the face on Monday night in Philadelphia's Queen Village section
The woman has since died. Her name has not been released.
Officers were called around 10:10 p.m. Monday to the 900 block of South 5th Street.
Upon arrival, they found a 32-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her mouth and arm.
She was rushed to Jefferson University Hospital for treatment.
Police say the house was ransacked. The TV's were torn off the walls and furniture was turned over.
The scene showed signs of a violent struggle.
No arrests have been announced.
