An Allentown woman is facing charges after leaving her one-year-old daughter in a freezing minivan while she went for a haircut.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- An Allentown woman is facing charges after leaving her one-year-old daughter in a freezing minivan while she went for a haircut.

Police say the baby was found unattended in the 800 block of St. John Street yesterday.

She was asleep, with no blankets on her.

The temperature at the time was 20 degrees with a wind chill of 9 degrees.

Police say the girl's mother, 23-year-old Mirella Rodriguez, was found at a barber shop down the street.

She's charged with endangering the welfare of children.
