Police: Woman run over by truck outside bar dies

WISSAHICKON (WPVI) -- An argument outside a Philadelphia bar between a man and a woman has ended with one person dead.

The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. Sunday when the two were inside of T Hogan's Pub located on the 5100 block of Rochelle Avenue across from the Wissahickon Train Station.

Police say the man left the bar, got into his tow truck, and started to drive off.

The woman continued to run alongside the vehicle.

That's when police say she fell and was run over by the truck.

Medics rushed the 29-year-old woman to Temple University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

At this time, police have not filed any charges.
