Policewomen hold "Event to Remember" in NE Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Women who serve on the Philadelphia Police Department held an "Event to Remember" in Northeast Philadelphia Saturday.

The event was organized to help young ladies look their best during the spring dance season.

The officers donated dresses, shoes and accessories for girls between the ages of ten and eighteen.

The dress giveaway will help hundreds of young ladies remember a special time in their lives.
