VIDEO FROM SATURDAY NIGHT: Philadelphia Police have arrested political lobbyist A.J. Marsico and charged him in connection with a sexual assault.

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police have arrested political lobbyist A.J. Marsico and charged him in connection with a sexual assault.

A 27-year-old woman alleges she was sexually assaulted by Marsico in an office at The Bellevue in Center City Philadelphia on August 21st.

Authorities say she ran from the office and immediately called police.

Marsico was arrested at his home Saturday morning and arraigned Saturday night.

His attorney says Marsico is innocent.

Marsico is the brother of the Dauphin County District Attorney.

He is married to 6abc reporter Annie McCormick.
