COBBS CREEK (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police have identified the man shot and killed at a home in the Cobbs Creek section of Philadelphia.

30-year-old Ben Cook was shot at around 8:00 p.m. Saturday in the 5300 block of Angora Terrace.

Investigators say there was some type of confrontation in the doorway of the house when a suspect pulled out a gun and shot Cook.

Cook, who police say lived in the home, was shot once in the chest and once in the armpit.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say they found a gun under his body.

Those bullets also hit a 24-year-old man in the head and on the right side of his body.

That man was discovered on the steps leading up to the second floor. Medics transported him to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania in critical condition.

During a search, police say they found more than 30 marijuana plants in the house. Those plants were removed early Sunday morning.

They don't know if the shooting was drug-related, but there were three witnesses in the house who were giving investigators details about the deadly shooting.

Investigators say the gunman ran off on foot, dropping evidence including a stack of money.

It appears the gunman was known to the victims. Police are hoping to identify him soon and locate him.
