Public, Archdiocese schools in Philly closed Friday

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- All Philadelphia public and Archdiocesan schools in the city will be closed Friday.

Both the Philadelphia Archdiocese and the Philadelphia School District made their announcements Thursday evening.

The Philadelphia School District also announced that their administrative offices will be operating on a two hour delay.

The Archdiocese added that schools in the suburban counties should follow the decision of their corresponding local public school district.
