Purse snatching caught on camera in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for a thief who was caught on camera stealing a woman's purse in South Philadelphia last month.

The incident happened around 7 a.m. back on December 14.

The unknown male suspect was caught on surveillance walking towards the victim on the 700 block of Tasker Street.

Then, he can be seen leaning in and grabbing her purse before taking off running.

If you see this suspect do not approach him and contact 911 immediately.
