Rainy night for opera

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The rain did not stop the opera from coming to South Broad Street Friday night.

It was opening night, for the Philadelphia Opera's new production of La Traviata.

The night kicked off with a black tie gala in an outdoor ballroom, then a performance inside the Academy of Music.

The show runs until next Friday.
