PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Dozens of local men and women who took advantage of a second chance earned recognition for their hard work Monday night.
The "Graduate Philadelphia" program celebrated it's tenth anniversary at Union Trust in Center city.
The program has helped more than 5 thousand working adults get college degrees.
The night also honored Maureen Rush, the vice President of Public safety at the university of Pennsylvania.
She is a "comebacker" who spent nearly ten years earning her degree while working as a Philadelphia police officer.
