Red Cross assisting 10 after Manayunk fire

MANAYUNK (WPVI) -- The Red Cross is helping ten people with clothing, food and a place to stay after a fire damaged their home in Manayunk.

It was around 2:15 p.m. Thursday when firefighters were called out to the report of a fire on the 4600 block of St Davids Street.

Crews arrived and immediately attacked the smoke and flames.

Luckily, everyone who was inside the home got out without being hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
