Residents escape burning home in Port Richmond

PORT RICHMOND (WPVI) -- A fast-moving fire damaged a house in Philadelphia's Port Richmond section.

The blaze started before 2 a.m. Thursday on the 1800 block of East Monmouth Street.

Fire crews battled the flames in a second floor bedroom of a two-story house.

Everyone made it out safely with no injuries.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
