BRICK TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are looking for three suspects after a man was stabbed during a road rage incident in Brick Township, New Jersey.

The incident happened on Saturday in the area of Route 88 and Jack Martin Boulevard.

Police say the victim, a 39-year-old man from Toms River, was driving his Jeep with his family inside.

At one point the driver of an Acura, with New York plates, began yelling at him while driving aggressively.

The vehicles reached the intersection and that's when, police say, the driver of the Acura got out and approached the Jeep. The Jeep's driver also got out and a fight ensued.

Two passengers got out of the Acura and joined the fight.

The driver of the Jeep was then stabbed with a small knife, leaving him with cuts to his head and elbow. He was treated and released from the hospital.

The suspects, two males and one female, got back into their vehicle and fled the scene.
