Robber uses Mountain Dew as diversion

A surveillance camera recorded a bizarre "splash and grab" in California.

A robber used soda as a diversion when he robbed a mini-mart.

The robber splashed a cup of "Mountain Dew" at the cashier in the Fresno store.

Then slid over the counter to grab cash from the register.

Police say the cashier unfortunately wiped up the sticky fingerprints the robber left behind.

He was able to get away with $500.
