Robbery suspect threatens woman with crowbar, steals $7 from register

HAINESPORT TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- New Jersey State Police are searching for man who threatened a woman with a crowbar at Burlington County automotive shop.

It happened around 3:20 a.m. Wednesday at the Bear Tire and Auto on Route 30 in Hainesport Township.

Police say the suspect entered the building and threatened the woman with a crowbar.

After taking her purse and $7 from the cash register, the suspect ran across Route 38 onto the eastbound side.

The victim described the suspect's voice as gravelly.

Surveillance video shows a mark or scar on the side of the suspect's face, and he appears to be missing his front teeth.
