WEST GOSHEN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A scholarship has been established in the name of a local college-bound high school graduate who was killed in a road rage shooting last month in Chester County.

The West Chester Area School District said the school board approved the creation of the Bianca Roberson Scholarship Fund at its meeting this week.

Roberson graduated from Rustin High School earlier this year and was set to attend Jacksonville University in Florida this fall.

"There is nothing we can do to bring her back but to honor her memory," said School Board President Chris McCune.

Funeral held for teen killed in road rage shooting. John Rawlins reports during Action News at 4pm on July 7, 2017.

The district said the Roberson family and a school committee will "work together to establish criteria that recipients must meet in order to qualify for the scholarship."

If you would like to donate to the fund, checks can be made out to WCASD and mailed to Dr. Michael Marano, Rustin High School, 1100 Shiloh Road, West Chester, PA 19382.
