A major sewer line ruptured in Mount Laurel, New Jersey Wednesday.

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. (WPVI) -- A major sewer line ruptured in Mount Laurel, New Jersey Wednesday.

The break happened on the 200 block of Hartford Road near Route 38.

The line that ruptured services about 80 percent of the township.

All residents are asked to reduce water usage until repairs are complete.

If your sewer backs up, contact the Municipal Utilities Authority at 856-234-0062.

The 20-inch line broke about 2-years-ago.

Officials believe today's break is weather related.

Crews are working to repair the line as quickly as possible.
