Shooting victim found in Tioga alley

TIOGA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting after a shooting victim was found in an alley in Tioga.

Shortly after midnight Sunday, police received a call of a body in an alley off of Erie Street.

After several hours of searching, officers located the body of a male in his 30s in a small alley near Park Avenue.

Police say the victim was shot once the head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
