KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Police say a dispute between neighbors ended in a standoff after a shot was fired in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood.

Officers responded before 3 a.m. to the 3400 block of Crystal Street after reports of someone firing a gun.

A 24-year-old female told police she was in the living room when she heard gunshots.

Moments later, she told police she heard banging on the rear door of the residence. Seconds later, she heard the rear door being forced open.

The woman says she saw the suspect, identified as 45-year-old Agustin Burgos, enter the kitchen allegedly with something in his hand. She then screamed and fled out the front door.

The victim says her husband then went back into house, and saw the suspect flee out the back door and into his own house.

The suspected shooter is believed to have shot at his neighbor before going back into his home.

A negotiator was called to the scene, along with SWAT officers.

The SWAT team made their way through the door, and took the suspect into custody without further incident.

He was charged with burglary, criminal trespass and criminal mischief.
