Sinkhole opens up in Allentown neighborhood

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Repair crews were on the scene after a sinkhole opened up in Allentown.

It happened before dawn Tuesday at 12th and Highland Streets.

Chopper 6 HD was overhead after the rear wheels of a garbage truck got stuck in the hole.

Crews were called in and removed the vehicle. No one was hurt.

There was no immediate word what caused the sinkhole to open.
