Sketch released of luring suspect in Barnegat, N.J.

BARNEGAT, N.J. (WPVI) -- Authorities have released a sketch of the man wanted in the attempted luring of an 11-year-old girl in Barnegat, New Jersey.

The incident happened at about 6:00 p.m. Friday on Bayshore Drive.

Police say the man was in a white work van when he pulled up to the girl and asked if she needed a ride.

The girl declined the offer and the man then drove off.

The girl's mother witnessed the incident from about 50 to 60 feet away.

Police have released a sketch of the man. He is described as being in his early to mid-50s, with bushy white hair. He was wearing sunglasses at the time of the incident.
