Police say a dozen bullet casings were found at the scene early Tuesday morning.

Wilmington police have released surveillance photos of the gunman wanted in the death of a 26-year-old.

It happened before 1:00 a.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of West 3rd Street near Scott Street.

Officers arrived to find a silver Honda Accord parked in the area and inside located a 26-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds.

They say the windows of the vehicle were shot out. Investigators found 12 shell casings at the scene.

The victim was rushed to Christiana Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities released surveillance images of the suspected gunman on Thursdays.
