FISHTOWN -- Philadelphia police have released new surveillance video of two fake police officers robbing a Fishtown warehouse early Wednesday morning.

Police were called just after 2:00 a.m. to a report of a gunpoint robbery at the Kawa Food Distribution Center at 1717 North Delaware Avenue.

They say two suspects were posing as police officers and made off with $87,700 cash.

The suspects were only inside the center for about five minutes.

The distribution center was closed at the time and two owners and one employee were preparing to open.

The suspects knocked on the door, announcing they were the police.

Investigators say one of the owners answered to the door, and the suspects had guns in their hands.

They were wearing hats with police on them and one may have had a badge around his neck.

The suspects then forced the owners to show them where the safe was and forced the victims to the ground, holding guns to their heads.

They made off with bags and bags of cash.

The victims were not hurt.

Police believe the robbery may have been an inside job.

The suspects fled in a dark 1990's SUV, possibly a Chevy Trailblazer, last seen going west on Susquehanna towards Delaware Avenue.

Police say there were flashing lights on the dashboard.

The suspects also tore video recording equipment from the walls before leaving in an effort to hide evidence.

Police say there are lots of surveillance cameras at many different angles to help them get clear pictures.
