Suspect sought in assault outside nightclub in Pennsport

Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect who assaulted two men outside of a club in the city's Pennsport section.

PENNSPORT -- Philadelphia police are looking for a suspect who assaulted two men outside of a nightclub in the city's Pennsport section.

The incident happened back on June 28 on the 1700 block of South Christopher Columbus Boulevard.

The unknown male suspect was caught on surveillance video leaving the nightclub at 3:00 a.m.

Police say the man started arguing with a group standing outside waiting for a taxi when he suddenly punched one man in the head.

The suspect then punched another man, knocking him unconscious before fleeing in a taxi.

Police describe the suspect as a white male in mis mid to late 20s, over 6'0" tall with short brown hair and a muscular build. He was wearing a black polo shirt and khaki pants.
