Suspect sought in bakery burglary in South Philadelphia

Police are looking for a suspect who burglarized a bakery in South Philadelphia early Sunday morning.

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are looking for a suspect who burglarized a bakery in South Philadelphia early Sunday morning.

The suspect was caught on surveillance at 2 a.m. breaking into the Baker Brothers bakery on the 2300 block of South 3rd Street through the front door.

He searched the bakery and looted through the cash register before fleeing the scene south on 3rd Street from Wolf Street.

Police describe the suspect as a male of unknown race with a medium build. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt or jacket and sneakers.
