Suspect sought in donut shop robbery in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are hoping to find a suspect who robbed a donut shop in North Philadelphia Sunday morning.

It happened at the Dunkin' Donuts located on the 3700 block of North Germantown Avenue.

Police say the suspect entered the restaurant at 5 a.m. and placed an order.

When the employee opened the register for payment, the suspect reached over the counter and grabbed the money.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years-old, 6'0" tall, 165-170 lbs. with a dark complexion and facial hair. He was wearing a bubble black coat and blue jeans.
