SUV crashes along Lincoln Drive in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- The driver of an SUV lost control and crashed in wet conditions on Lincoln Drive in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park.

It happened at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday near Gypsy Lane.

Images from the Action Cam at the scene showed the Jeep Liberty with front-end damage.

It had crashed into the former Philadelphia Police 92nd district headquarters.

Officials say the driver was being checked for minor injuries at the scene.

Traffic on Lincoln Drive was not affected.
