NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An SUV with a trailer plunged into the Delaware River in the Tacony section of Philadelphia on Saturday morning.

The driver was there for a tournament with the Delaware River Fisherman Association.

Police say that the man went to put his boat into the river at the boat ramp on State Road behind the Dietz and Watson plant when it happened.

The vehicle plunged to the bottom of the river, but crews arrived to pull it out.

No injuries were reported.
