Teen fatally shot in the chest in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a teen boy has died after he was shot in the chest in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of North Lambert Street.

The 17-year-old victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital as a trauma alert.

He was later pronounced dead.

No word on a motive or any possible suspects.
