Teen girl stabbed multiple times in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 17-year-old girl is in critical condition after she was stabbed several times inside a home in South Philadelphia.

It happened shortly before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday along the 600 block of Dickinson Street.

Police say the teen was stabbed multiple times in the back.

She was rushed to Jefferson Hospital in critical condition.

Police say they recovered a knife at the scene.

No word on any possible suspects or a motive.
