Teen hospitalized after West Philadelphia shooting

Police were on the scene of where an 18-year-old male was shot in West Philadelphia.

It happened before 9 p.m. Wednesday along the 1800 block of Montrose Street.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired. And when they arrived, the victim was found with a wound to his hip.

He was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and listed in stable condition.

Police are looking for the shooter.
