Teenager slips, hit by SEPTA bus in Olney

OLNEY (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after a teenager was hit by a SEPTA bus in Olney.

The accident happened shortly before 4 p.m. Friday at the SEPTA terminal at Broad Street and Olney Avenue.

The victim, a 17-year-old male, was hit by the Route 6 bus.

Police say he was leaving the terminal when he slipped in front of the front passenger-side tire and was run over.

He suffered a fractured pelvis and fractured right leg.

He was taken to the hospital and placed in critical condition.
