Thief robs Germantown GameStop store

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- A thief was caught on camera making off with cash from a GameStop store in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

Philadelphia police released video Monday showing how the crime played out Friday morning inside the location on the 5300 block of Chew Avenue.

With his hood up and face covered, the thief demanded that two employees open the registers.

They listened and he helped himself to all of the money.

Police say he acted as if he had a weapon, but neither employee saw a gun.

The man left the scene and has not been caught.
