Thief steals 4 bicycles from parking garage in Bella Vista
BELLA VISTA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for a thief who stole several bicycles from a parking garage in the city's Bella Vista section.
The thief was caught on surveillance just before midnight on December 18 walking towards the parking garage of an apartment complex on the 700 block of Bainbridge Street.
He waits for a few cars to pass before squeezing past the garage gate.
The suspect then passes one bicycle through the gate before riding it away.
He returns to the garage almost 2 hours later and steals two more bikes.
The thief then comes back a third time just after 3 a m. and steals a fourth bike, riding it away eastbound on Bainbridge Street.
Police describe the suspect as a white male, 20-30 years-old, 6'0" tall with a thin build and trimmed beard. He was wearing a black knit hat, gray hooded sweatshirt, gloves, blue jeans and tan boots.
