Threat prompts evacuations in Chichester School District in Delaware County

ASTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- An unspecified threat has prompted evacuations in the Chichester School District.

According a post on the district's Facebook page, the threat "has been made to the district, and all students are being evacuated."

The post asks parents not to come to school buildings to pick up their children.

Schools in the Chichester School District include the following: Chichester High School, Chichester Middle School, Marcus Hook Elementary School, Linwood Elementary School, Boothwyn Elementary School and Hilltop Elementary School.

The Chichester School District headquarters is located in Aston, Delaware County.
