Tractor-trailer crashes into light pole in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Authorities say a tractor-trailer crashed into a light pole in Wilmington, Delaware.

It happened around 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of 4th and Spruce streets.

Police say the driver was following a detour for the closed I-495 bridge when he missed a turn, striking the pole.

Fortunately no one was injured.

A number of streets were shut down as the scene was cleared.
