University of Delaware student sexually assaulted

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- A University of Delaware student says she was thrown up against a car and sexually assaulted this past weekend.

The 20-year-old victim told police it happened while she was walking alone on Corbit Street in West Newark, around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

The attacker reportedly snuck up behind her and pushed her against a parked car.

The victim says her assailant ran off after the assaulting her.
