CLEMENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Several vehicles were damaged by vandals in South Jersey overnight. Their owners woke up to find their windows smashed, and police say most of the victims are young people.

It happened sometime between 1 a.m. and daybreak Wednesday.

Gloucester Township police say in all four vehicles were damaged.

Steve Arra got into his car for work and found his passenger side window busted out by a rock.

"I noticed there was a rock on the window - I didn't notice the glass at first. Then all of a sudden I looked over to my right and my window was gone," Arra said.

His neighbor, Dan Bozzuto, tells us, "I'm glad I didn't walk out and see who did it or I'd be in jail."

When Bozzuto left his house this morning he found his daughter's car also had a smashed out window. Again, it appears a rock was used.

Police say the vandal hit three cars in this neighborhood off Fernwood and another car a mile away within Glendora.

Police have no suspects.

"You gotta fix this? I mean, this is like 5-600 dollars worth of damage, easy," Bozzuto said.

Arra will shell out $200 to get his window fixed. Despite the damage and inconvenience, the 18-year-old is taking the vandalism in stride.

He says, "It could've been worse. It could have been sugar in the gas tank, messing my car up. But lucky it was just the window."

Many of the victims are in their late teens, but police have not yet determined if they were targeted or if these crimes are connected.
