Victim crawls out of flipped car after West Philadelphia hit-and-run

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver who crashed into another car on a West Philadelphia street and injured the driver.

The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. Sunday at 62nd and Spruce streets.

Investigators say the impact of the crash sent the second car flipping onto its side.

The driver of the car managed to crawl out of his vehicle and was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Police are working to get a description of the hit-and-run vehicle.
