VIDEO: Victim ID'd after fatal workplace stabbing in Franconia
Right now police have no idea what caused two coworkers to turn on one another.

FRANCONIA, Pa. (WPVI) -- Montgomery County authorities have identified the victim in a fatal stabbing incident at a meat processing plant in Franconia Township.

The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Danny Vazquez.

Police were called around 8:00 a.m. Wednesday to the JBS-Mopac Rendering Facility, located on the 700 block of Souder Road.

Authorities have not released a motive but coworkers say it started as an altercation between two longtime employees in the parking lot of the facility.

It's unclear what happened next, but when it was over both men had stab wounds.

Vazquez was taken to Abington-Lansdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The other employee is in police custody at Paoli Memorial Hospital where he is undergoing surgery.

Authorities are calling the second person the suspect, and say his injuries appear to be self-inflicted.

A knife, believed to have been used in the incident, was recovered at the scene.

The District Attorney's Office says it has an idea of what led to the incident, but have not released details.

Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney Kevin Steele says, "We're working through a number of things, talking to witnesses. So we'll have that at some point."

Coworkers say Vazquez was a good guy, and that the stabbing may stem from an ongoing argument.

The suspect's name has not yet been released since charges have not yet been filed.
