KEY LARGO, Fla. (WPVI) -- People living on one south Florida street captured a slow-motion disaster on camera this weekend.
A Key Largo man was recording a contractor removing branches from a rotting tree on Sunday.
That's when the 20 ton crane suddenly started to tip over.
It eventually crashed down, destroying a light pole, three cars, and an RV.
Incredibly, the crane operator jumped out of the truck in the nick of time.
It took crews several hours to right the massive piece of machinery again.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what happened.
